Introduction
WHO ARE WE
BIOD is an umbrella name for BioDesign and BioArt projects, that are curated by Yev Kravt. Since 2017, Yev Kravt is collaborating with BioDesigners and BioArtist, land artists, local farmers, and ecology producers who work together to create solutions to environmental challenges. The latest project was in Larnaca (Cyprus), where a BioDesign Festival was established with a mycelium pavilion, an exhibition on BioDesign called BioSculpt and many engaging workshops.

BIOD is a project by curator Yev Kravt.

Yev Kravt is an independent curator living between Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Larnaca, Cyprus. With her background in contemporary art, biodesign and technology, Yev is dedicated to integrating social change and inclusiveness into her curatorial practice. Yev's work stands to stimulating experimentation and fostering diversity in the evolving art world.
Over the past 10 years, Yev has organised numerous exhibitions at museums, institutions galleries and non-profit spaces, including the Larnaca Biennale and Larnaca BioDesign Festival in Cyprus; Foam Photography Museum Amsterdam; Droog Design Gallery; Ron Mandos Gallery; SEXYLAND World; Het Nieuwe Instituut, museum for Architecture, Design and Digital Culture; and the Biennale of São Tomé and Prìncipe.
ASSISTANT CURATOR
SASHA POLIAKOVA
Sasha Poliakova is an historian and art producer with a keen focus on sustainability and upcycling. in design practices. Graduating from St. Petersburg State University with a degree in Middle Eastern History, she specialized in Turkish history and furthered her art studies at the State Hermitage Museum.
Sasha has contributed to academic articles and has honed her expertise in sustainable fashion at the University of Leeds and color theory at KLC School of Design. Based in Larnaca, Cyprus, she has worked on the local Biodesign Festival and the Larnaca Biennale.
